Chuck R.L. Larter CD1, FIC, EPC serves as the Senior Fraternal Counsellor for the Madore Agency of Eastern Ontario representing several councils in the Ottawa region. Chuck lives in Limoges with his wife Jocelyne. He has 3 daughters, Lisa, Natalie and Natasha. Chuck and his wife Jocelyne are also foster parents and have welcomed over 50 children in their home since 1998. They are members of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Parish where Chuck is a reader and a Eucharistic minister. He is also a member of OLMM K of C council.

Chuck has been a member of the 3rd degree team as well as Supreme Knights qualifier for 9 years. He is also a life qualified member of the MDRT. Chuck was the first Knights of Columbus Fraternal Counselor to receive the designation "Elder Planning Counselor" (EPC). He is also an advocate for the Miriam Center as well as a member on the board of directors.

Previous to joining the Knights of Columbus field force, Chuck served in the Canadian Forces from 1965 - 1994. He joined the Knights of Columbus Devine Infant Council 1st March 1987. On 1st March1994 he became a Knights of Columbus Fraternal Counselor. Chuck has dedicated himself to Father McGivney's vision of protection of the members and their families. To this end he has earned many distinctions:

Earned his Fraternal Insurance Counsellor (FIC) designation in 1996. Member of National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counsellors (NAFIC). Repeat qualifier for the NAFIC Quality Service Award, Gold Production Awards and President's Production Award.

Repeat qualifier of the K of C Supreme Knights Sales Club , which honors the top agents in the order (based on sales and service) Life qualified member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the premier association of financial professionals, which consists of the top 3% of Financial service professionals in North America and the top 6% in the world. Member of ADVOCIS, Canada's premier professional association for financial advisors Member of the KofC VIP program, having recruited over 50 new members into the Knights

Chuck continues to expand his knowledge through insurance and financial courses from the ADVOCIS continuing education program and various seminars.
