Michel Sumure is starting his 6th year as a 3rd degree Knight, having occupied various roles in the Executive, most recently as a Trustee in Council 11500 - Sainte Marie d'Orléans. In addition to being involved in many activities of his council, he is strongly involved in a number of parish groups including six years (three as Coordinator) of the Sunday school group for 8-12 yrs old children. His involvement and dedication has earned him the Council 11500 - Knight of the Year Award in 2007.
Michel's background is in the high-technology field where he spent over 25 years helping Fortune 1000 clients across North America in finding solutions to meet their requirements. As an industry expert in the field of voice biometrics, he participated in conferences across the United States, Canada and Europe. A number of distinctions during his career are testimony to his ethics and solution-driven approach.
Over the last 15 years, Michel occupied various sales and management roles in a number of small private companies. As the new Fraternal Counselor for a number of local councils, he looks forward to serving his brother Knights and helping them achieve financial security for their family and loved ones. The key to success is indeed to listen to the individual needs of each member and ensure they receive the best services and products at all times.
